About Us

Indigenous Remedies is a family owned and operated
business that has been operating since December of 2004.
We have committed ourselves to helping individuals help
themselves by providing natural products and alternative
healing practices.

The owners:

Malikk "Dr. Turtle" Haile and Aremisa "Beautiful Fire"
Haile are long time holistic practitioners. Malikk is a
certified Reiki Master and herbalist and is currently
working on his Master Herbalist certification. He also
practices Shamanism and is well known in the Dallas area
for Energy Movement and Alchemy practices. Aremisa
Haile is proficient in ancestral readings, crystal healing,
chakra education and is currently pursuing her
certification as a midwife and herbalist. She also serves
on the board for Sistas in the Light, Inc., an organization
committed to promoting health and wellness to women
and teenage girls.

Malikk and Aremisa's genuine love of community and
expertise in their fields has given birth to the Indigenous
family.

Our mission is to be a resource for natural and holistic sciences.
We want to encourage individuals to pay close attention to the
energy that they put into minds, bodies, and spirits. This is being
done through our many wonderful products and services.

We at Indigenous Remedies take a social responsibility in
informing the community in preventative medicine and
alternative healing. It is important to us that our clients learn
how to make informed decisions on their path to self healing.

In order to live a back to basic lifestyle one has to be committed
to their own value system. Value systems usually contain
longevity. Here at Indigenous Remedies, we want to be a big
part of our clients' value system. As fads come and go,
Indigenous Remedies has a basic business and social ideology
that will always be here for anyone seeking a natural approach
to health and healing.
